We don’t know exactly when this wonderful product was “invented”.
In the best confectioners’ kitchens, where high quality raw materials
are being skilfully processed, new recipes are casuality found.
We at Tacchinardi have always made it, just like so many other products
that have gained a rightful place in Lodi’s confectionery tradition.
The traditional Bacioni di Lodi® (Lodi kisses) are “delightfully
delicious”. Reported in the well known magazine “La Cucina
Italiana” that describes them (In the March 2007 issue) as
“two brown biscuits, sandwiched together, really soft and creamy
and coated with a crumbly crust…” Fine cocoa, PGI hazelnuts
from Giffoni, honey, egg whites, chocolate cream and icing sugar
all combine like a lovely melody. Bacioni di Lodi® are an ideal
way to send greetings from Lodi: a special blend of flavours to delight
the palate. Of course they are ideal for any magic moment in
everyday life or for celebrations. Naturally excellent, definitely
unbeatable: 1st prize at the Expo Sapori fair in Milan in 2005.
